Jena Laine Malone is an American actress, musician and photographer. She started her career as a child actress and rose through her roles in indie films and mainstream blockbuster movies. His awards include two Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations, a Golden Globe Award nomination and a Saturn award. Originally from Sparks, Nevada, Malone spent both his youth there and in Las Vegas, while his mother performed in local plays. Inspired to be an actress, Malone persuaded her mother to move to Los Angeles. After auditioning for several projects, Malone was cast by Anjelica Huston in her TV series Bastard Out of Carolina, for which she won numerous awards, including nominations by Screen Actors Guild and Independent. Spirit Award. She then secured roles in major productions of Contact and Stepmom studios, for which she won the Saturn Award for Best Young Actor.
