Jennifer Jason Leigh is an American actress and producer. She began her television career in the 1970s before making her breakthrough in film as Stacy Hamilton in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. She went on to critical acclaim for her performances in the Miami Blues, Last Exit to Brooklyn, Backdraft, Single White Female and Short Cuts. Leigh was nominated for the Golden Globe for her role as Dorothy Parker in Ms. Parker and the Vicious Cycle. She starred in a 1995 film written by her mother, screenwriter Barbara Turner, titled Georgia. In 2001, she co-wrote and co-directed a movie with Alan Cumming called The Anniversary Party. In 2002, Leigh appeared in the new black crime drama Road to Perdition. In 2007, she starred in the family drama Margot at the wedding. She had a recurring role in the comedy Showtime Weeds as Jill Price-Gray.
