Jerry Ray Lucas is a former American basketball player. He was a nationally recognized high school player, a national college star in the State of Ohio, and a 1960 Olympic gold medalist and international player before playing as an Professional player in the National Basketball Association. As a college student, Lucas led Ohio State Buckeyes to three consecutive NCAA Finals, winning the National Championship in 1960 and finishing second in 1961 and 1962.
