José de Jesús Mendoza Magaña is a Mexican soccer striker. Mendoza made his debut in the Verano 1997 season against León against Cruz Azul. Mendoza didn't play much until the 1998 Invierno season. During the 1999 Invierno season, Mendoza was transferred to Chivas de Guadalajara. Mendoza played two seasons with Chivas, in which he made 33 appearances and scored 10 goals. When the Invierno 2000 season arrived, Mendoza was sold to evil rival Club América. Mendoza won the first championship of his career in the 2002 Verano season with the United States. Mendoza was sent to Monterrey before the start of Clausra's 2003 season. Despite rarely playing Clausura 2003, Mendoza won the second championship of his career, this time with Monterrey. Mendoza was sent back to the United States for the 2003 Apertura season and has not left since. Mendoza won the third Clausura 2005 championship against America. Prior to the 2005 Apertura season, Mendoza transferred to San Luis F.C.
