Jessie Buckley is an Irish actress and singer. Her career began in 2008 as a contestant on the BBC TV talent show I Would Do Anything, in which she came second. That same year, she appeared in Stephen Sondheim's West End cover of A Little Night Music. She attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, from which she graduated in 2013. Buckley's on-screen appearances include roles for the BBC TV series: Marya Bolkonskaya in the film. The 2016 adaptation of War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy, Lorna Bow in Taboo and Marian Halcombe in The Woman in White. Buckley made his film debut with the lead role Moll Huntford in Beast. She went on to perform roles in film and television, including Rose-Lynn Harlan in Wild Rose, Lyudmilla Ignatenko in the HBO miniseries Chernobyl, Young Woman in I Think At The End Of Things, and Oraetta Mayflower in season four of. Fargo. For her performance in Wild Rose, she received a BAFTA Award nomination for Best Actress in the Leading Role.
