James Arthur Boeheim is an American college basketball coach who is the head coach of the Syracuse Orange men's team at the Atlantic Coast Games. Boeheim led Orange to 10 Big East regular season championships, five Big East Tournament titles and 34 NCAA tournament appearances, including five appearances in the final four and three appearances in the national title game. In those games, Orange lost to Indiana in 1987 with Keith Smart's last-second jump, and to Kentucky in 1996, before defeating Kansas in 2003 with All-American Carmelo Anthony.
