James Andrew Himes is an American businessman and politician who has served as the United States Representative to the 4th Congressional District of Connecticut since 2009. As a Democrat, he chaired the New Democratic Union to the 115th Congress. Its county covers most of the southwestern corner of the state and largely shares the Connecticut side of the New York metropolitan area. It includes parts of Fairfield County and New Haven County, including the towns of Bridgeport, Norwalk, Fairfield and Stamford.
