James Ross Bartel is a former Australian footballer who played for Geelong Football Club in the Australian Football Federation. With a height of 187cm and weighing 89 kg, Bartel can be a midfielder, striker or defender. Bartel launched AFL in 2002 and has since earned a long list of awards and achievements. He's been prime minister three times, Brownlow medalist, Norm Smith medalist and twice Australian. Bartel is one of only two AFL players, along with Simon Black, to have won a Brownlow medal, a Norm Smith medal, and have played more than 300 AFL matches.
