Jodi Marie Benson is an American actress and singer. She is best known for providing both the voice and song for Princess Ariel in Disney's The Little Mermaid and Its Sequel, its prequel, and its TV sub-series. Benson also voiced the character of Barbie in Toy Story 2, the 1999 Golden Globe winner, Toy Story 3, the 2010 Oscar-winning sequel, and in the Toy Story cartoon Hawaii Vacation. For her contributions to Disney, Benson was named Disney Legend in 2011. She also voiced the spiritual "Weebo" on the live-action Disney Flubber, along with Robin Williams. For Warner Bros., she voiced Thumbelina in a 1994 Don Bluth animated film with songs by Barry Manilow.
