Actor best known for his role as Harold Lee in the Harold & Kumar movie franchise. He and Karen Gillan co-starred in the short-lived ABC sitcom Selfie. In the Star Trek movie, he also played Hikaru Sulu. In the 2018 film Searching, he made history as the first Asian-American actor to star in a mainstream Hollywood thriller.
