John William Harbaugh is an American football coach and head coach of the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football Federation. Previously, he coached the defenders for the Philadelphia Eagles and coached Eagles special teams for nine years. Harbaugh and his younger brother, former San Francisco 49ers team coach and current head coach Jim Harbaugh of the University of Michigan, were the first brothers in NFL history as head coach. Jack Harbaugh, the father of Jim and John, served as defense coach, assistant coach and rerun coach for 45 years. John and the Ravens beat his brother, Jim, and 49ers at Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans on February 3, 2013 by 34-31. Harbaugh has led Ravens to 134 wins since he started his tenure in 2008, the fourth-most win at the NFL during that period, and topped Brian Billick in most wins by a coach Head coach in the history of the Baltimore Ravens franchise.
