John Lloyd Espidol Cruz, also known as John Lloyd Cruz, is an occasional Filipino actor, model and TV presenter. Her career began with appearances in numerous teen movies and television shows. He is a member of ABS-CBN's Star Magic, where he is a former Batch 5 student. He starred in the teenage drama Tabing Ilog alongside Kaye Abad. He is best known through television series such as It Might Be You, Maging Sino Ka Man, I ♥ Betty La Fea and Imortal. Throughout his career he has collaborated with other actors including Kaye Abad, Bea Alonzo, Angel Locsin, Toni Gonzaga and Sarah Geronimo. In mid-2009, he switched from a series of casual roles to a more controversial role in the movie In My Life, where he played a gay character. Cruz completed his school program at the Marikina Catholic School. He attended high school until his third year at the ABS-CBN Distance Learning Center. He resided in Santolan, Pasig. He currently owns a house in Valle Verde, an exclusive estate in Pasig.
