Stay Human's founder and international gospel singer, best known for their album Social Music, which spent almost a month at number one on the Billboard and iTunes Jazz Music Charts. The National Jazz Museum in Harlem named him Artistic Director at Large.

Jonathan Michael Batiste is an American musician, conductor and television personality. He has recorded and performed with artists of various musical genres, released his own recordings and performed in more than 40 countries. Batiste regularly tours with his group Stay Human, and appears with them every night as the conductor and music director on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Batiste is also the Music Director of the Atlantic and Creative Director of the National Jazz Museum in Harlem. In 2020, he co-wrote the animated film Pixar Soul, for which he received the Golden Globe, the BAFTA and the Academy Award for Best Original Song with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. He became the second black composer to win an Oscar since Herbie Hancock in 1987 for the play Round Midnight.
