Jordan Luke Rhodes is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a striker for Sheffield Wednesday Championship and the Scottish national team. He started his career at Ipswich Town and after loan stints at Oxford United, Rochdale and Brentford, he joined Huddersfield Town. In the 2011–12 season, he was England's top scorer with 36 league goals, breaking Huddersfield's record for most goals in a single season. In August 2012, he became English football's most expensive player out of top flight when he joined Blackburn Rovers for a fee of £ 8 million, the equivalent of Blackburn's record transfer fee. In 2016, Rhodes joined Middlesbrough, playing briefly in the Premier League. The following year, he signed with Sheffield Wednesday. His one-season loan with Norwich City began in July 2018
