Jordin Brianna Sparks is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She rose to fame in 2007 after winning the sixth season of American Idol at the age of 17, becoming the youngest winner in the series' history. Her debut studio album of the same name, released later that year, was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America and has sold over two million copies worldwide. The album topped the Billboard Hot 100 singles "Tattoo" and "No Air"; The second single, starring Chris Brown, is currently the third best-selling single by any American Idol competitor, selling over three million copies digitally in the United States. The song earned Sparks his first Grammy nomination for Best Pop Vocal Collaboration. Sparks' second studio album, Battlefield, came in at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Her father, Phillippi Sparks, was a former NFL defensive back who played for the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys. In 2017, she began dating Dana Isaiah, and the two secretly married in July of that year.
