Joseph Lewis Thomas, better known as Joe, is an American singer, songwriter and record producer. Growing up in Opelika, Alabama, he moved to New Jersey and signed a recording deal with Polygram Records in 1992. He became famous after releasing his debut album Everything the following year. It followed with a series of hit albums from Jive Records including All That I Am, international bestsellers My Name Is Joe as well as several Better Days and And Then certified albums .... Some of the songs from these albums have become hit singles on pop and R&B records, including number one hit "Stutter", top ten "All the Things", "Don't Wanna Be. a Player" and "I Wanna Know" as well as collaborations “Faded Pictures,” “Thank God I Found You,” and “Still Not a Player.” Since leaving Jive, Joe has released most of his projects independently through joint ventures with Kedar Massenburg and Plaid Takeover Entertainment MTZ_MT Ballad Musicians.
