In 2011, he took on the lead role of Peeta Mellark in the box-breaking box office series The Hunger Games, released annually in 2012-2015, and won three MTV Movie Awards and one People's Choice Award. At the same time, he also starred in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and voiced the animated film Epic.
