Director, screenwriter, and producer who developed the sci-fi cult classics Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly. In addition, he wrote and directed the blockbuster picture The Avengers, as well as its sequels. He co-wrote several family films, including the Disney classic Toy Story, which was released in 1995.
Joseph Hill Whedon is an American director, producer, writer and composer. He is the founder of Mutant Enemy Productions, co-founder of Bellwether Pictures, and is best known as the creator of several television series. These include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse, and Agents of SHIELD. Whedon co-wrote the animated film Toy Story by Pixar, wrote and directed the sequel to Firefly Serenity, and co-wrote and directed the internet novels Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, wrote and also produced the comedy of horror The Cabin in the Woods. He wrote and directed the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero films The Avengers and its sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron, and co-wrote the screenplay for the expansion turrets superhero film Vu DC Justice League. He also served as director of Justice League during the renaissance, replacing Zack Snyder.
