British-Indian Bhangra musician who emerged to prominence in 2004 with Juggy D, the first Punjabi language album to chart in the United Kingdom. He has worked on crossover projects with performers such as Ricky Martin and Madonna, and he was named Best Act at the UK Asian Music Awards in 2006.

Juggy D before fame

He grew up in Southall, West London, and began performing when he was 14 years old. After school, he worked as a contract sales and marketing professional, and he also worked in the food industry, owning and operating Juggy's Kebab Hut. In the early 2000s, he rose to notoriety as a member of The Rishi Rich Project.
