Justin Willman Chambers is an American actor and former model. Born in Ohio, he attended Southeast High School, South Charleston, and later studied acting at HB Studio in New York. Chambers began modeling after being approached by a modeling scout in Paris. He continues to represent fashion brands such as Calvin Klein, Armani and Dolce & Gabbana. Chambers began his acting career with a recurring role in the soap opera Another World and made the film debut with a supporting role in the 1999 comedy-drama Liberty Heights. in 2005 when he was selected as Dr. Alex Karev in the ABC medical television series, Grey's Anatomy. Chambers received widespread recognition as the series continued to grow and the character became one of the most popular characters in the hit franchise, winning numerous nominations and the Best Drama Actor award. Best of People's 2017 on TV Network Awards as well as nomination for the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
