Justin Irvin Upton is an American professional baseball player for the Los Angeles Angels of Major League baseball team. He previously played for the Arizona Diamondbacks from 2007 to 2012, the Atlanta Braves in 2013 and 2014, the San Diego Padres in 2015 and the Detroit Tigers in 2016 and 2017. He is B.J's brother's teammate. Upton with Braves and Padres. Although primarily a right-back throughout his career, Upton has since turned to left-wing for the Braves, Padres and Tigers. Upton was first picked by Diamondbacks in the 2005 MLB Championship while in high school and made his MLB debut with them in 2007. Justin and B.J. were the only brothers in the Major League baseball tournament to be selected to enter pitch 1 and 2 of the first round of any draft.
