Kasperi Kapanen is a Finnish professional ice hockey player for the National Hockey League's Pittsburgh Penguins Team. He made his Liiga debut while playing for KalPa during the 2012-13 SM-liiga season. Kapanen was chosen by Penguins in the first round, 22nd overall, of NHL Draft 2014. On 1 July 2015, he was traded with the Toronto Maple Leafs; Five years later he was traded to Penguins. On January 12, 2013, Kapanen played alongside his father Sami Kapanen in an SM-liiga match.
