Katherine Leigh Webb is an Australian actress, radio presenter and children's author, still best known for her serial role as the original Sally Fletcher character in the Home and Away TV series, she won two Gold Logie Awards. She played the character for 20 years, appearing on the Test Set from 1988 until 2008. Ritchie is currently on the Nova FM National Driving Show, Kate, Tim & Joel alongside Tim Blackwell and Joel. Creasey. Before leaving Home and Away, she shared with original members Ray Meagher and Norman Coburn the record for the longest continuing role in an Australian TV series. After a five-year hiatus, Ritchie returned to Home and Away in 2013 to briefly reprise the role of Sally Fletcher to commemorate the franchise's 25th anniversary. For more than 20 years joining Home and Away, Ritchie has also hosted various television events and appeared in commercials, a miniseries and an Australian film.
