Keith Peter Thomas Francis Julian John Duffy is an Irish singer-songwriter, actor, radio, TV presenter and drummer who began his professional music career as a member of the Irish boy band Boyzone with Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham, Shane Lynch and Stephen Gately in 1993. The group decided to focus on solo projects in 2000, since then Duffy has gained critical appreciation for their roles, particularly in soap operas like Coronation Street and Fair City. He also performed The Box and You're a Star. Duffy has been an autism "awareness" activist since her daughter was diagnosed with the disorder at the age of 18 months, and has served as a sponsor of the Anti-Autism Action Organization. Ireland regularly hosts fundraising events and informative discussions. Duffy was the winner of the British reality TV series The Door in 2010 and third in the first series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2001, and the second series of Splash! in 2014 .
