He worked on Broadway as Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire and in the lead role Macbeth played at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. He is known as Alexander "Tig" Trager in the FX Sons of Anarchy series and Declan Gardiner in the Citytv Bad Blood series, as well as his recurring roles in Prison Break, Cold Case, CSI and CSI: Miami. He also had movie roles in The Last Boy Scout, Bad Boys, King of Sorrow, Goon.
