Kim Jae-joong, also known as Jaejoong, is a Korean singer, songwriter, actor and director. He is a member of the Korean pop group JYJ and one of the original members of boy group TVXQ. Since 2013, he has expanded his scope of activities as a solo artist and is also known as Hero Jaejoong, Jejung / J-Jun and 英雄 在 中. Born in Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do as Han Jae-joon, he was adopted into the Kim family as a child. As a teenager, he moved to Seoul to audition for SM Entertainment. From 2003 to 2010, he was the singer of Korean group TVXQ. He then sued SM Entertainment with Park Yoo-chun and Kim Jun-su and together they parted ways with TVXQ to form JYJ. As a solo artist, he released two Korean studio albums, WWW and No.X, both reaching number one on the Gaon Music Chart. In Japan, his three studio albums Flawless Love, Love Covers and Love Covers II all peaked at number 1 on Oricon's Album Chart.
