Kyu-Jong rose to prominence as a member of the South Korean boy band SS501, but he went on to pursue a solo career, releasing his first independent album, Turn Me On, in late 2011. He is also an actor, having appeared in the Mnet sitcom Break and in the TV Chosun series Saving Madame Go Bong Shil as Nicky.

Kim Kyu-jong is a Korean artist, actor, and member of boy group SS501. In 2010, Kim left DSP Media, which ran it as part of SS501, and joined B2M Entertainment with his band friend Heo Young-Saeng, to pursue his solo career. He made his musical debut in Goong: Musical, with Lee Shin, and made his debut as a solo artist in September 2011 with the mini album Turn Me On.
