Filipino-American basketball phenom at the shooting guard position who committed to the UCLA Bruins in October of 2014, but eventually enrolled at Creighton University in 2016.
Kobe Lorenzo Forster Paras is a Filipino basketball player. Standing 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 189 pounds, he plays as a small striker. He used to be a member of the Philippine National Team and the 3x3 National Team. Paras pledged to compete in the United States at the University of California in Los Angeles, but withdrew after the school's admissions department determined he was not meeting their academic requirements. Instead, he played his first year for Creighton Bluejays in 2016-17 before moving to Cal State Northridge, where he wore a red shirt. However, he left Cal State Northridge to play college basketball for the Philippine University Athletics Association's UP Fighting Maroons. He is the son of legendary Benjie Paras of the Philippine Basketball Association.
