Charles Ashenoff, also known as Konnan, is a Cuban professional wrestler, manager and former professional wrestler. He is currently signed to Major League Wrestling and Impact Wrestling. At Impact, he was previously director of The Latin American Xchange and is currently a member of the creative team. Over a career spanning nearly three decades, he fought for national and independent promotion in the United States and Mexico, and held fifteen titles in nine promotions. He has also worked as curator, color commentator, book writer and creative consultant, mainly for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. In addition to wrestling, Konnan is also an occasional rapper. He is best known to the American public when he participates in Wrestling World Championships as part of the nWo team and as part of The Filthy Animals.
