He played Nick Harper in My Family, Colin Frissell in Love Actually, Gratiano in The Merchant of Venice in 2003, and Dave in the premiere of the series Citizen Khan. He played DI Humphrey Goodman in Death in Paradise, took the role in April 2013 for the show's third series and left it in February 2017 in the sixth series.
