About Kyle Lafferty

Striker who made his senior international debut for Northern Ireland in 2006. He played for the Rangers FC from 2008 to 2012; he briefly joined Palermo in 2013 before signing a three-year contract with Norwich City in 2014. He joined Hearts of Midlothian in 2017.

Kyle Joseph George Lafferty is a professional footballer from Northern Ireland who plays as a striker for Scottish club Kilmarnock. Lafferty began his professional career with the English football team Burnley, where he made 89 appearances. He signed for Rangers in 2008 for £ 3.25million and won three Scottish Premier League titles, the Scottish Single Cup and Scottish League Cup twice with the club. In 2012, Lafferty decided not to move to the new company which owned and operated Rangers and moved to FC Sion in Switzerland. He signed for the Serie B club in Palermo in 2013 and led them to the Championship in his only season before joining Norwich City. He spent time on loan with Turkish club Çaykur Rizespor and returned to England with Birmingham City. After just over a year returning to Scotland with the Heart of Midlothian, Lafferty re-signed with Rangers in August 2018, then spent briefly with Sarpsborg 08, Sunderland and Reggina.
