From 2001 until 2009, he was a Hall of Fame running back with the San Diego Chargers, winning two rushing crowns and being nominated to five Pro Bowls. With 31 total rushing and receiving touchdowns in a single season in 2006, he set an NFL record.
LaDainian Tramayne Tomlinson is a former American professional soccer player who has competed in the National Football Federation for 11 seasons. He is considered one of the greatest full-backs of all time. He played most of his career with the San Diego Chargers, who selected him with the fifth overall pick in the 2001 NFL Draft. Tomlinson has been invited to five Pro Bowls, six All-Pro, and has won consecutive peak titles in 2006 and 2007, and was named 2006 NFL MVP. Upon retirement, he placed fifth in career jumps, seventh in multi-purpose courts, second in career jumps and third in total hits. He is currently an analyst for the NFL Network. After being elected to the College Football Fame Hall in 2014, Tomlinson was inducted into the Professional Football Fame Hall in August 2017, the first year he qualified; he was the first Pro Football Hall of Famer to have a professional career that began in the 21st century
