William Lance Berkman, nicknamed "Big Puma", is a former professional American baseball midfielder and first basketball player. He played 15 seasons in the Major League Baseball League for the Houston Astros, New York Yankees, St.. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers. Berkman is a six-time MLB All-Star athlete and won the World Series Championship and National League Player of the Year award alongside Cardinals in 2011. He is 6 foot-1 tall and weighs 220 books. Berkman has spent various seasons of his career as a regular member in all three positions on the pitch. An outstanding baseball player at Canyon High School, Berkman attended Rice University, where he played varsity baseball for Owls.
