Lara Flynn Boyle is an American actress and producer. She is known for her role as Donna Hayward in the hit ABC TV series Twin Peaks. After playing Stacy in Penelope Spheeris's comedy Wayne's World, Boyle starred in John Dahl's critically acclaimed neoclassical film Red Rock West, followed by roles in Trio, Cafe Society. and Happiness. From 1997 to 2003, Boyle played the role of Assistant District Attorney Helen Gamble in the ABC TV series The Practice for which she was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a TV series.
