From 1968 until 1974, he was the Super Bowl VIII MVP and a Hall of Fame fullback with the Miami Dolphins. He made the Pro Bowl five times and finished his career with 8,081 running yards and 68 touchdowns.
Larry Richard Csonka is a former professional full-back of American football who has played for the Miami Dolphins for most of his career, with the New York Giants for three years, and briefly played for Memphis Southmen at the WFL. . Csonka is best remembered for his successes during his tenure with the Dolphins, which included becoming a member of their perfect 17-0 season in 1972 and winning the Super Bowl championship in 1972. and 1973, the last time he was named Super Bowl MVP when he ran for a then record 145 yards. Five-time Pro Bowler player and three-time All-Pro first-place team, Csonka remains the Miami Dolphins brand's all-time best racer to this day with 6,737 yards and 53 touches.
