Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is a Sheikha Emirate and member of the ruling family of Dubai. His father, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and his mother, Huriah Ahmed al M'aash, is from Algeria. She has two younger sisters of the same name. She is the full sister of Sheikha Maitha, Sheikha Shamsa and Sheikh Majid. Sheikha Latifa escaped from Dubai at the end of February 2018 and was pushed out of international waters near the Indian coast by a joint India-Unified operation on March 4, 2018. In December 2018, the Dubai Royal Court a stated that she was back in Dubai. She is currently believed to be being held against her will on the orders of her father, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
