Defender who rose to prominence in England's top flight FA Women's Super League, where she played for Arsenal, Chelsea, and Birmingham City, among others. She also played for England's women's national team, winning two Cyprus Cups with them in 2013 and 2015.

Laura Bassett is a former England football defender who has represented England at international level. She has played for FA WSL club, Notts County, Birmingham City, Arsenal, Leeds Carnegie, Chelsea and Australian W-League club Canberra United. Bassett made more than 60 appearances for the national team between 2003 and 2017, on the list of UEFA Women's Euro 2009, FIFA Women's World Cup 2011, Women's Euro UEFA 2013, FIFA Women's World Cup 2015 and UEFA Women's Euro 2017.
