Laura Kay Berg is the Oregon State Beavers College softball head coach and former college four-time left-handed softball athlete and central Olympian athlete, originally from Santa Fe Springs, Calif. . She played for the Fresno State Bulldogs from 1994 to 1998, where she won the 1998 Women's World Championship and held the Western Athletic Conference career record for wins, runs and thrice. She is one of only four women to win four Olympic softball medals, having won a medal at every Olympic Games where the sport is competed. She is the second person of all time in a career I've hit and beat at the NCAA. She was also honored in the American Softball Hall of Fame.
