Maria Lea Carmen Imutan Salonga, the Filipino actress and singer best known for her roles in the musical theater, offers the voices of two Disney princesses and is a recording and performing artist. Figure. At the age of 18, she starred in the musical Miss Saigon, first in the West End and then on Broadway, won the Olivier and Theater World Awards and became the first Asian woman to win a Tony. Salonga is the first Filipino artist to sign with an international record company. Salonga is the first Asian actress to play Éponine and Fantine in the Broadway musical Les Misérables. She also played the roles of Éponine and Fantine in the 10th and 25th anniversary concerts in London respectively. She provided the voices of two official Disney princesses: Jasmine from Aladdin and Fa Mulan from Mulan. She was named Disney Legend in 2011 for her work with The Walt Disney Company.
