Leslie Roy Moonves is an American communications executive, served as President and CEO of CBS Corporation from 2003 until he resigned in September 2018 after numerous allegations of sexual harassment, public and sexual abuse. He has been married to TV character Julie Chen since 2004. He held a variety of executive roles at CBS from July 1995 to September 2018. He was a board member of ZeniMax Media from 1999 to 2021. He was then co-chairman and co-CEO of Viacom, Inc., legal precursor of CBS Corporation, from 2004 to until the company split up. December 2005. He became president of CBS in February 2016. In September 2018, Moonves resigned as president of CBS after several women filed allegations of sexual assault against him. Moonves allegedly destroyed evidence of her sexual misconduct.
