Letitia Jane Dean is an English actress and singer. She is best known for her role as Sharon Watts in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. As the original actress from 1985 to 1995, she replicated the role from 2001 to 2006 and again from 2012. Her other television roles include Grange Hill, Brookside, The Hello Girls, and Lucy Sullivan Getting Married. In 2007, she entered the fifth round of the BBC dance competition. On stage, she appeared in the West End High School Musical in 2008, and in the play Calendar Girls touring in England in 2010 .
