Lawrence Wendell Pfohl, known as Lex Luger, is a retired professional wrestler, television producer, bodybuilder and soccer player. In 2011, he started working with WWE on their welfare policy. He is known for his work with Jim Crockett Promotion, World Wrestling Championship and World Wrestling Federation. Luger is a two-time and one-time WCW heavy world champion as WWA heavyweight world champion. He is also the five-time NWA / WCW heavyweight champion of the United States, holding the record for consecutive days and total number of days as champion. He is the second WCW Triple Crown Champion. Although never won the WWF, he has challenged every title in the organization and was a co-winner of Royal Rumble in 1994 with Bret Hart. Readers of Pro Wrestling Illustrated voted Luger as Favorite Wrestler of the Year in 1993
