Alexis Noel "Lexi" Thompson is an American professional golfer competing at the LPGA Tour. At the age of 12, she was the youngest golfer to qualify to compete at the US Women's Open. She turned professional in June 2010 at the age of 15. On September 18, 2011, Thompson set a new record as the youngest winner in an LPGA tournament, when she was 16 years, seven months and eight days old, when she won the Navistar LPGA Classic. Three months later, she became the second youngest winner in a Ladies European Tour event, winning the Dubai Ladies Masters with four strokes on December 17, 2011. She won her first major championship at the Championship Kraft Nabisco 2014 at the age of 19, 1 month. and 27 days, she became the second youngest LPGA golfer to win a Major.
