Meister grew up in Slependen in Bærum. Meister first rose to prominence in the now defunct Aylar team, it was a group of glamorous models that included Elita Löfblad and Aylar Lie. Meister became a household name when she was the Joker contestant on the 2007 Norwegian reality TV show Robinsonekspedisjonen, where she placed fourth and was featured in the media. Meister is best known abroad for her musical single "My Ass", released to promote the horror film - the comedy Dead Snow. In the music video, Meister appeared nude in parts, which caused a stir in the media.
