Mount Logan, commonly known as Mount Logan, is a peak in the Bear River Mountains, a tributary of the Wasatch Range. Located 10 km east-southeast of Logan, Utah, in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, it is the second highest peak overlooking Cache Valley after Mt. Naomi. Mount Logan rises to a height of 9,714 feet NAVD88. It is served by hiking trails and a narrow, unpaved lane reserved for all-terrain vehicles. It is the only mountain in the Bear River range that has a path to the top. The summit has a weather station and a telecommunications tower. Mount Logan is a popular destination for hikers and mountain bikers in the warmer months and advanced cross-country skiers in the winter. In winter, a circular depression east of the top of the mountain, called Crystal Valley by locals, is popular with sledges.
