Lori Susan "Lolo" Jones is an American hurdler and skater, specializing in running distances of 60 meters and 100 meters. She has won three NCAA titles and won 11 All-American titles at Louisiana State University. She won the national indoor title in 2007, 2008 and 2009 at 60 meters over the hurdle, with a gold medal at the 2008 and 2010 World Indoor Championships. In skateboarding, she won the IBSF world championship in 2021 as a brake machine for Kaillie Humphries. She was favored to win at a distance of 100 yards over the barrier at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, but faced the penultimate obstacle, finishing seventh. She went on to win a gold medal at the 2008 World Athletics Final, beating new Olympic champion Dawn Harper with a record 12.56. Jones was the US record for the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 7.72 until 2018 when Kendra Harrison and Sharika Nelvis improved their times to 7.72. Jones also competes as a runner on the United States National Ski Competition Team.
