English actress well known for her role as Margaret Dashwood in the 2008 television miniseries version of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility. She's also known for her Young Artist Award-nominated portrayal of author Beatrix Potter's younger self in the 2006 film Miss Potter. She starred in the film Bohemian Rhapsody in 2018.

Lucy Boynton is an Anglo-American actress. Growing up in London, she made her professional debut as a young Beatrix Potter in Miss Potter. She has appeared in the television productions of Ballet Shoes, Sense and Sensibility and Mo, and has appeared as a guest on Borgia, Endeavor and Law & Order: UK. Boynton painted the portrait of writer Angelica Garnett on Life in Squares, broadcast on the BBC. She appeared as a famous lonely girl in The Blackcoat's Daughter and played a daring aspiring model in the critically acclaimed Sing Street. She has appeared in the horror films I Am The Pretty Thing That Lives Home and Don't Knock Twice, receiving much acclaim for her performance in the following installment. Boynton portrayed the wife of J. D. Salinger in Rebel in the Rye, which had a lot of negative reactions. She played Countess Andrenyi in Murder on the Orient Express, a critical and commercial success. Boynton plays a Netflix gangster and the daughter of a cult leader in The Apostle.
