Madison Kyle Bumgarner, commonly known as "MadBum", is an American professional baseball pitcher for Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball. Previously, he pitched the ball for the San Francisco Giants. Bumgarner has won three World Series championships and two Silver Sluggers. He was also selected for all four National League All-Star teams and scored the most goals in franchise history by a left-handed Giants pitcher. Bumgarner played high school baseball at South Caldwell High School in Hudson, NC, where he helped his team win the 2007 4A State Championship. After graduating, he was selected with the tenth pick. overall in the 2007 MLB Giants Draft. He and Buster Posey both made their big league debuts in 2009 and have built a reputation as one of the best teams in recent MLB history.
