Mai Phuong Thuy is a Vietnamese actress, model and beauty who was crowned Miss Vietnam for the 10th time at Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang, Vietnam on August 26, 2006. She represents Vietnam at the 2006 Miss World Pageant in Warsaw, Poland on September 30. , in the Asia-Pacific group. She first appeared on Miss World 2006 when she won votes from audiences around the world. In 2006, she was voted into the Top 50 annual Miss Grand Slam contests by globalbeauties.com.
