Malcolm Terel Butler is an American football winger for the Arizona National Football Federation Cardinals. Butler plays college football at the University of West Alabama. In his final year 2013, Butler made 18 passes and made two interceptions and was named the first team of the Gulf South Conference as a full-back. Butler joined the NFL in 2014, signing as an untrained freelance player with the New England Patriots. Butler has performed one of the most famous and impactful plays in Super Bowl and NFL history; With 20 seconds left in Super Bowl XLIX, Butler intercepted a pass at the line, blocked the Seattle Seahawks touch and put the Patriots in position to win the Super Bowl championship. Butler was also part of the Patriots team that won the Super Bowl LI against the Atlanta Falcons despite missing 25 points in the third quarter. Butler also plays for the Tennessee Titans.
